the photos actually make the lights look very dark, in reality they are a very light smoke, light enough that you can clearly see all the beam aim lines and writing on the glass. they just dont photograph very well.

also if you have just bought this check the tire pressures. ive had 8 e30s but when i bought my most recent one the drive home was terrifying, steering felt dangerously light. next day i checked the tire pressures...........50psi in one front and 46 in the other!!! FAR too high. reduced to the corre...

Re: Not this time roza! pressed plates
i got fined for having german font pressed plates on my last e30. the coppers first words to me after he pulled me up were 'do you speak much german'. My reply was 'ja ich weiß' he then said 'dont get funny with me, get in the back of the police car' after me losing my temper and arguing the toss i...

Re: What brakes are you running with your M50/M52?
Ok, as title really what brakes are you guys all running? No point having 24V power if you can't stop it right? :D why? an m50 is only 20bhp up on a m20 2.5 and an m52 2.5 is the same power as standard e30 325i. people talk about these m50/52 conversions as if its creating some kinda rocket ship. a...

Re: hole in my sump :(
we fitted a m52 sump with the engine in the car. we did have to lift the engine right up off its mounts though with the crane.
could you not just drain it down of oil and use some more jb weld or the like. im surprised you didnt notice the damage when you went to fit it. sad times

Re: RPM E30 sump guards?
my point is the distance from sump guard to road will vary from car to car due to springs/wheels but the distance from sump to sump guard is near on the same for all m20's hence i need to know how far it sits from the sump not how far it sits from the road
