Bit of info please, are coilovers for the Touring specific to the Touring or are they the same as ALL models? Only ask as got a set that came in the boot of a coupe I bought and want to fit them to my Touring, dont want to get halfway through the job and they dont fit

Looking to get a sump guard for my 318i, found some for sale in the States but the guy only lists one for an M42, are the bottom ends the same as the M40 ( ie will the fittings and clearance be the same as an M42 ??

What size are the front speakers in the footwells on an E30??

This is something I am going to do soon , my lad changed the speakers in his Touring, not sure what he fitted but rears were off Ebay, I think Kenwood or Pioneer, fronts not sure but all fitted in standard pods so no cutting and sound much better.

The rear spoiler on my white Touring has started to delaminate, just wondered if there is any way to restore the old one or is it a case of just replacing it with a good replacement?

Hi guys, anything happening meet wise in Cov/Brum area in next few weeks as want to get some use out of the white Touring before we get to that depressing time of year again

Giving it the love it deserves now, had a quick clean and polish but am going to give it a full clay bar and wax very soon. Using as much as possible now, took it to Santa Pod on Sunday and have to say got a fair bit of attention in the Show and Shine area where it was parked all day.

All sorted, as well as cam being worn and one lifter that had collapsed it didnt really help that someone in the near past ( shortly before I bought it ) had fitted a new cambelt and timed it up about three light years out. Now runs and revs as it should and doesnt rattle now

Finally dragged the white Touring out of storage with the intention of getting the running ( revving) issues sorted out. As we speak my mate is getting into the engine to replace the cam, lifters, rockers, cambelt kit etc etc as old cam is extremely worn and sounds worse than a Transit !!!! Just won...

Assuming white Tourings fixed then we will be there in that ( silver 325i sold now

), if not might have to be my partners E36 ( sorry!!!! )

U mean the rear trim cover??

Quick question guys, noticed lately that the drivers seat on the Touring is starting to twist towards the rear seat ( had same problem on the 2 dr 318i I had ). Anyone got any tips on fixing it as its getting worse and to be honest when I'm "playing" in the 325 I could do with sitting comfortably !!...

According to my lad the Pod wash awash with E30's so hopefully next year wont clash with retro show

I'm trying to tighten the roof aerial on my red Touring as its a litle lose and wobbly and letting in a little of the damp stuff. I've taken the sunroof handle surround off and can see the black connector with aerail lead coming out. Tried holding it with grips and doing the nut up on the roof, just...

Be good to get a few more cars this time.

Will a 528 E34 engine fit in an E30 without swapping sumps etc??

Big thanks to the guys who turned up today, realise it was a bit short notice but on the bright side the weather was good.

We stayed there till about 4 ish, bit dissapointed with turnout but hopefully more takers next time.
