After a long while my hartge h26 is finally going for paint after a few years in restoring it. I want to spray the engine bay but need replacement stickers. There used to be a chap pukar who did it but his site no longer lists those stickers. Anyone help I’d ideally be after an engine bay set. Thanks.

Great work. I've been doing my H26 the last few years. I'm currently rebuilding the callipers and upgrading brake lines. Once that's done it will be going for paint. Mine is also Diamond Schwarz. The end is near!!

Hartge H26 - might be a little biased by saying it

The m20 is a pretty basic motor anyone competent enough can rebuild it.

Figured out the problem. The fuel harness connector was one pin was missing a connector, managed to make one up and the car is running sweet now.

Ok so took it for a drive today. Its not just idling rough it drives like shit, won't accelerate. I'm now thinking its either a fuelling issue or it could be a tooth out on the timing. Any other suggestions welcome. Will test the fuel pressure today to rule that out.

Did you find a good place to buy these. I need this too.

I would advise opening up the ECU to check which chip you have - a standard BMW one will have a silver label with a part number on, e.g., 1 267 356 378, whereas a Hartge one will probably have one of their labels on. I'm currently making a housing for some VDO gauges for my H26 out of wood. I want it to match the dashboard. Any ideas how I can get that 80s bmw plastic dash look?
I looked at a vinyl wrap but couldn't find anything which gives the same affect.
Anyone done something similar?
