Vents

On the out side at the bottom of the windowsceen there are plastic
Now is there anything out there like solid plugs or anything so I can swap the vents out ?

Yes he was just worried you needed a special tool has he be we done a e30 bearing befor but he said if you can get the arm off then he has a press so will be easy

REAR BEARINGS

Hi guys right I'm having my rear bearings done but my Mechanic said he mite not be able too as he mite have to take the rear sub frame off ?

I said you didn't as you can take the rear arms/hub off and press the bearings out that way
WHOS RIGHT ?

Well it sorted it and it don't seem to be over fueling runs sweet as a nut so I'm happy

It was the throttle cable that was so loose that was causing it to only idle at 500rpm so I took the slack up and put it to 900rpm idle and it never cut out again plus the dizzy cap and rotor arm was so poor so cleaned them up untill I get some new ones

Push the clutch in it cuts out but start straight away could it be an air leak ? It's not doing it all the time tho ?

My 316i has started to just cut out it will start up right away tho if you pull the clutch in it cuts out any ideas can't really say more than that do you think a good service ? Ie plugs leads dizzy and rotor arm would help it out

Iv looked over the car and it's pretty good it's just bulk head needs doing under Neath is good and as long as I can get the bulk head sorted it's a good solid car

I no it's not worth it but if they keep splitting wouldn't it be best to get a half decent one that way it won't split again ?

Exhaust manifold

My 316i manifold is cracked I think as the tapping noise coming from the engine is quite bad untill it was up and it was the same as my e36 318is had a new manifold fitted and it shut up now my question is can you buy a new updated manifold for it ?

The little brass nut was lose and on the fuel gauge there ain't even a nut or washer !

One last thing it's runs quite lumpy at the min is there anything I can do to get it to run a little smoother ? As it's an injection is there stuff I. Can do to make it run nice
