Re: Coilover spring rate
Hi. I use 7" 650lb fronts with 2.5" 225lb helpers with an M20 lump.....500 on a 6 inch spring sounds too soft esp with a heavier front end.

Re: Trackway/ race disc brakes
CL's may be more suited to the Toyo 888 rather than Zeta Linea but haven't tested with them on 888 yet.

Re: Trackway/ race disc brakes
Hi Paynts, I compete in the Pbmw championship and use EBC Turbosport Grooved discs (vented) on the front and standard on the rear. Last year I used Yellow Stuff pads matched front and back, the discs are approx 6 meetings and 3 track days old and haven't suffered warping. The rear pads do wear at a ...

Re: Track day car tyre and coilovers advice please?
I raced on Ast's last year and have recently switched to AVO as they are local to me and can dyno/ service the dampers at a moments notice. Both sets are Mono's and offer very good adjustability and grip....I have used another rated brand but found that they did not offer a huge amount of difference...

New EBC Turbo Sport discs fitted all round matched to new Yellow Stuff pads (replaced Black Daimond discs and Blue Stuff pads). What suprised me was the amount of restriction caused by the handbrak...

Sump removal.
Hi, after some hefty kerbing at Oulton with the clearance at a minimum Ive managed to slightly damage the bottom of the sump enough to get a very small drip of oil. I have a spare ready and intend to fit it this weekend, am I able to remove the sump with the engine still in the car and without remov...

Re: new fuel pump extremely noisy! Any ideas?
Please excuse my input if it sounds a bit simple (just a plumber) but it sounds like whatever is supplying the pump is starving it of fuel....my red top Facet pump in my oval stock car days did exactly that when starved. Also possibly the reason that the other pump died? Check tank and blow fuel lin...
