Adjustable topmounts are probably a waste of money on a non coilovered car as the minimal amount of camber you can achieve, can probably be gained by either using the accident repair mounts from BMW with the additional neg camber. If you're lowering it you will add some negative anway and toe, if you wish to add more/less camber at the front then you will need adjustable front topmounts. I did another one at Snetterton, should have left it well alone but instead I put a new head on and the bottom end then lasted 3 races- DOH!

I now have a full new one to get in for 2010!

to keep it simple,

Race Car:
Final assemble and fit new engine
New polybushes
New ball joints, drop links etc
Suspension rebuild

Tech 1:
Full restoration (target 1 year)

I plan to restore my Tech 1 to factory spec, then improve the handling based on the experience I have from the race cars. ie suspension, tyres, bushes, geo etc I'll probably add front and rear strut braces for a little bit of stiffness too All can easily be removed and put back to factory in the fut...

how do you get a build spec?

About to do the shed of a tech 1 I have and would be good to check authenticity before spending ££ and hours

Also be nice to return to original spec ie same carpet/seat colour

Depends how far gone it is and if your a perfectionist like me who likes the right contours in the floor. I'm chopping up a doner car to repair the sport then passing over to the expert, but as Brian says it is a simple shape if its a small repair and if you dont have OCD on the floor contour LOL -M...
