Re: Clutch master cylinder gone again!

You can reverse bleed the clutch hydraulics by connecting a tube between the bleed nipple on the front left brake caliper and the clutch slave bleed nipple, then pumping brake fluid back through the system. Does that mean that the fluid is bled round through the brakes from the reservoir, will it n...

Re: Clutch master cylinder gone again!

I'm struggling to find a Febi/bilstein one, except from the USA and threw ebay, so i'm concerned it might be a fake.

Anyone know where I can get hold of one today?
What's the original BMW one like?
Thanks again

Clutch master cylinder gone again!

Just a heads up to avoid this particular part. My clutch master cylinder went about a couple of months ago, I was pumping the pedal all the time to generate enough fluid pressure in the system. Anyway... It was replaced less than 500 miles ago (about 4weeks) and now its gone again. Parked up fine, w...

Re:

Replaced interior light, swapped the petrol cap for a lockable one and finally finished reconditioning the front leather seats (backs next! - which look like they will be a nightmare & probably beyond my skills)

Re: Short shift

Thanks guys, your wise words have steered me well away from that bit off ebay. I'm gonna go for the z3 1.9 shifter and replace all the clips, rings, spacers and bearings as I go, so glad I asked before waisting the funds. @polsta, it's for a 325i cab, currently the gears feel as capri_rob, described...

Short shift

Hi all, first post, probably in the wrong place, sorry if it is.

I've seen a short shifter I'm thinking about.
ebay Item number 200919052537

Anyone have any experience with these or similar adapters? Are they easy/difficult to fit? Any other advise?

Thanks in advance
