On that German forum it says:

Wheel Spacer (per side)

E30 hub ---- 0mm

Z4 hub ----2,5mm

M3 E30 hub ----5mm

E36 323ti Compact hub ----19mm

And i think that is based on using the E30 Trailing arms

Plain brown, with no tracer, are normally earth wires. Plain green, also with no tracer, are normally ignition switched, unfused, 12 volts +. For more info, I'll need to know where they end up. Is there any good reason why you couldn't use Motronic Pin 27 (start input) as the +12v source to power Megasquirt?

Besides the fact the cable looks a little skinny, its probably the most simple method of making the thing turn on and off with the key.
