Hello from Cornwall, UK. 325i Convertible
Hi All, For the past ten years, I've been looking at BMW e30s, but for whatever reason, a classic car was not an option. However, earlier this month, my new car came up for sale at a local garage, and it was ideal timing to purchase this classic car. There are numerous repairs that need to be done, ...

Bumper clip
Hi,
Would it be possible to order a replacement clip for the drivers side bumper?
I'll include a photo as I'm not sure what the part number.
Thanks,
Martin

BMW 320is (known forum car?)
I was interested to see this unusual BMW 320is for sale at KGF. Is this a known car? Forum member? http://www.kgfclassiccars.co.uk/details.php?cid=300

Have seen a nice is and touring today. Having a newish diesel BMW makes me nostalgic for a straight six m20 engined e30. I need a 325i Sport in Dolphin Grey manual for weekend duties

I was generally interested in the 34k e28 m535, tbh I would have still been interested at 80k but the suspicious history killed my interest. Looks like a stunning car tho, but not with miss matched history.

Amazing car, was once advertised with 70k miles, now 34k. Either the original advert was incorrect, or we've time travelled

Nice to see that dbell will be saving a classic. It shows that real collectors see the value and desirability of the 325i Sports.

Thanks polsta, I know that the costs of repairs can soon become eye watering, turning a fun car into pain. I will wait and see what comes up, I have a daily driver so have no urgent need to rush

Re:
Thanks for the feedback, I'm hoping the rust is confined to the hatch.
The current owner has spend several thousand on repairs to the body work with receipts to show that work was conducted by a professional classic body-shop, so surprised he failed to sort the roof.

Re: Sunroof corrosion?
If the car otherwise looks good, and the seller agrees, I'll have it inspected at Munich Legions as they seem to know their stuff.

Sunroof corrosion?
I'm going to view a E30 Sport which notes "sunroof corrosion" within the ad, the car otherwise looks smart and rust free.
Should I be overly concerned about sunroof rust, where are the weak points? It will also not open so could this be a car killer, expensive to fit, or just a minor irritation?

Re: Nice article to show the non believers!
Interesting to see that the article was published in "10 Sep 2009" listing a convertible at £4500, that's about right to purchase a good 325i convertible today. So guess prices have stayed about the same. Nice to know that you won't lose money, other than the costly maintenance associated with any c...
