I have had nothing but trouble with this numpty with his copied chips that do not work on the 318is. I provided the original chip number from my ECU and was sent the 'right chip'. Tried 2 chips but then told there are 3 different firmwares..... He just hasnt got a clue and sells chips which he just ...

These chips do not work for the M42 and Maurice knows that. He sent me 2 chips both of them did not work. I have been patient but enough is enough. He will gladly take your money but will make excuses he has not received the chip back and so on. He just does not want to refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! ...

Ok, well what i think i will do first is have the bracket welded and then see how i get on. If i still have issues with my mechanism then i will look into replacing them on both sides.

Unfortunately i dont have a welder and took it to a local 'garage' to have it done. I think i will take it back and get them to do it properly this time!

Well took the back off the base and took the whole base to have the bracket welded.

Came home, re-assembled and put back in the car. As soon as i sat in the seat and lent back....... clunk!!

There she goes again!

Ahhhhh..... the joys.... :D

Hi guys, I have an issue with my brakes and need some advice.

When setting off in a morning from cold the brake pedal will drop almost to the bottom the first time it's pressed.

I have had the brakes bled but has made little or next to no difference whatsoever.

Any ideas....?

Hi guys, had a look at the seat earlier and the L shaped bracket has snapped. I will get this welded but I now have an issue with the tilt mechanism. It doesn't always lock in place and will recline aswell as drop seat height!!

Not ideal when when driving. Any ideas....?

Drivers Sport Seat - Help and Guidance Required

Hi Guys, i need some help with my drivers seat which is loose on the back section at the bottom left. It is further back and loose compared to the right side.

It isnt a enjoyable experience as my body is angled when driving!!

Any ideas....?

Hi Guys, i have developed a misfire at low revs but it clears after 2k rpm. Seems to be worse when the car warms up...... I am looking for another ECU as i fitted a Eprom chip i bought off here but it didnt work. The idle was rough and it wouldnt rev. I refitted the original chip and all was back to...

Ive not had the cover off as yet to check..... So annoying..... Only rattles under 2k rpm. Once it gets past that it runs sweet!

It also feels as though it is just holding back aswell until it gets to 2750 rpm.....

I have replaced the tensioner but the problem still persists. The rattle is only present under 2k rpm...........

Any idea of where to go from here guys.....??

Is it the piston type, looks like a bullet...?

I am wondering whether to replace just the tensioner or if it will need a full chain kit....?? :?

I've sourced a diff to put on it for the time being. Will look into the LSD rebuild once it is off.

It only does it when i have a little steering lock on and it starts to jump and clunk. ive had all the shafts etc checked and they are not showing any signs of play. There is an 'S' on the diff which indicates it is an LSD. What can i replace it with?

I know the previous owner had it checked and used to boast about the fact it had one even though he didnt have a clue about vehicle maintenance! I see what you are saying though. Im not sure whether it is the Diff, could it not be something to do with the Drive Shafts?
