hi all
ive got an 87 325i and i took my leads out of my distibuter and made a right hash of marking them up and now its all rubbed of and i dont no which number lead goes in which hole can anyone help?

im running keskin kt4s 9x16 back and 7.5x16 front with a 60/40 drop on my cab she never scrubs. ive been looking on e30.de and there running 10x16 on standard arches im not sure how does anyone no?

im afraid the cars a non-runner as ive removed all the old sensors and fitted the ms ones and loom. i have a serial to usb lead but it wont work. if i stiill cant get it gong i will have to take it all off and drive down to meet you and get it sorted. ill keep you posted thank very much for your off...

sweet cheers mate it was just so i could go down the scrappy prepared! i may sound dumb now but where bouts are these parts located on the engine!
i duno mate its one of them things not to worry though. its getting there though ive got power and tps + other sensors soughted just no spark yet

i dont have pin 47 on my loom so i guess its a trip to the scrapper at the wkend! nah i missed that one ant dont no what happened there.
while on ms does anyone no of a good reliable usb adaptor as i dont have the serial port on my laptop?

quick ms question

hi all
im in the middle of fitting ms to my car its a 87 325i turbo and was wondering where the trigger wire goes as ive put it in the wrong place. has anyone wired the ms loom into an ecu plug as this is what ive done if so can anyone tell me what pin it is?

no my engine is totally stock thats why i dont want to go any hire than because i want re-liability etc. which head bolts do you recomend? as im going to do the head gasket i want to do it properly i posted pics last summer if you search in the photo gallery for turbo cab you will find it

head gasket and de-compression plate questions

i own a 325i turbo (87 engine hi-comp) and am going to change the head gasket as its on the way out. I was de-bating weather to put a de-comp plate on, has anyone done this? if so is it worth it how much and where can i get one?. Im also wondering what headgasket is best and where to get it from and...

yeah i spoke to ant the other week hes really helpful and had loads of info for me which was great so il def be buying from him weather i go diy or getting him to do it. do you need a remap on a rolling road after youve fitted it? or can you set it up on the roads with a laptop?

has anyone fitted megasquirt to there cars before? what do you do and how hard is it? ive spoke to ant and cant decide weather to get him to fit it or buy a kit from him an do it myself.

ive been breaking bolts and props from both bmw and euro car parts, the last time i had it done i got it done by a garage just incase i was doing it wrong so they should have been torqued there i hope! thanks gareth il ave to get under it and check that out, if it is that i think it mite be a trip t...

prop donut

hey has anyone had a problem with there prop donuts breaking ive had 2 go before turboing my car and then when i fitted the turbo i put another new one and new bearings bolts etc in the prop that was 4 months ago and its broke again! anyone no whats going on? and if and where i can get uprated ones?...

the rads only a year old is there enough room to fit these cossie fans in? should i move my intercooler from infront of the rad to somwhere else?

nah it go ova but im worried it mite in the summer i wish mine would sit a quarter. i was thinking about drilling some small holes in the thermostat someone ino done this on there golf and it helped cooling massively

turbo cooling?

does anyone with a turbod 325 have a problem with cooling since fitting there turbo? cus on mine it warms up to half under boost but without boost it goes to just ova a quarter. iv got my intercooler in front of my rad and no vents do i need to change this? has anyone changed the rad or done things ...
