The touring I picked up last week has the headlight adjuster system intact with no cracks or splits arpoud the tube connections.. I'lll let you know if I can get the magoose method to work. i had the same problem with mine ant, take the barrel's out the back of the head lights and unscrew the small white pushrods untill they are on just a few threads, then clip it back in and adjust with the barrel looking thing and bingo you got manual adjustable head lights :D just be carefull not to...

I had to tow mine not so long ago, the book said 31 mph for 31 miles with an extra 1.8 litres of atf, i done about 37 miles and it was fine.
Is there not a peice of the shaft that comes out rather than taking the whole thing out?

I have a solution because i had the same problem when i was that age! Direct line on either of you parents name, with them you build up no-claims as a named driver and in my opinion they were cheap, i started in a 318i-£430 first year, then wham bam 2nd year 320i se-£390 and now 2 years down the lin...

i did have a suspision it might be that, it doesn't loose a lot of oil it just looks worying because the fan blows it around. i am starting to get worried about it because i'm gonna be taking it long distance and don't fancy it pumping all the oil out 100 miles down the road and ceasing up. All i can see on it without stripping it down is oil running from the pulley area of the head down the front of the engine, there is no evidence of oil comming out above the pulley. i took the rocker cover off aswell to check and there was no evidence of it leaking from that or near the 2 small seal...

Just checked the jet engines, they run too hot so would probably melt everything. and they cost the same as a garret turbo, expensive!

Too much for an electric pump to blow in, my mate tryed it, what an utter waste of time and money! for similar money chip it! thats if the zone chips are good??

Definately diy, i got the seal kit from the stealership for mine and recon'd it myself. easy enough, you just need a hell of a lot of patients!

I know it sounds strange, but i got them on 1 of mine and the 1 time i got stopped with them the law complemented on how good they look on the car. Have changed them now tho for when i drive to noeth wales cause i think they are pretty strict up there!!

yeah i think that could be the plan, just worried that the owner get's peed of if he see's his project pull out of the car park on the back of a wagon! only other thing is how do i break the steering lock? there is a set of keys on the seat but i haven't been cheeky enough to open the door yet!ha ha

ah cool cheers mate, thats what i shall do i think, still waiting for the owner of the car park it's in to get back to me, cops say when he says i can take it i can, apparently it becomes his property. I might carry on trying to find the owner tho just to be curteous! cheers guys

where abouts are you from? dont plan on taking it without consent. am going to try and get in contact with the owner to see if it is there for a reason or if it is unwanted. just spoken to a mate in the police force and he is gonna try and get a VIC on it.
