my latest little project!
After 14 months into my e30 project I was faced with a dilemma, half way into ripping into the underside of my car I had to move the car out of where I was working on it and push it into a corner in storage :( since I couldn't work on it and it was unfit to be moved anywhere (still can't find anywhe...

the dealers do full kits for each end which includes new grease and circlips etc...from memory i paid about £50.00 or so for each end..(about 4 months ago) Dont be tempted with the aftermarket boots..the ones that i was presertned with, even from some quality parts companys was very poor. hope this...

Re: best doner car for e30 swap ?
I'm no expert but the m50 seems to be the favourable engine for turbo's, very strong and the ability to swap in the 2.8 crank rods and pistons, in which case you'd virtually have a cast m52, was reading an article about them in performance bmw the other month and they claim you can push 400bhp on st...

Ordering new arms, ends, drop links and wishbones from ATP soon (: what I mean is I got whole e46 jobby half the price I initially expected to pay for a bare rack!! Seems there's money to be made from buying these racks and relisting them with big words like "quickrack" and "club sport"

thats what I mean mate! I bid on that rack! thankfully didn't win it!! clubsport e46 purple tag quick rack
as far as I know theres seems to be a lot of confusion on these steering racks at the moment among ebayers? They're not directly recognisable by the purple tag as some have different part numbers? But is this part number 6755067 a genuine 3.0 turn clubsport rack? The e30 zone wiki says the 067 is th...

I'd prefer it if the fronts a little lower! will help with the look I'm going for! I was just worried 30mm wouldn't be enough... I think I'll order them and if worse comes to worse I'm sure I can sort something out!

Best lowering springs for an e30?
Been looking at eibach springs and bilstein b4 shocks.. They claim a 30mm drop all round but with my m50 I think it will be a little more upfront! Anyone run these and could recommend them or if not any other quality springs? Cheers

Re: Fuel Pump in tank e30
Pull out the fuel pump relay and link together pins 30 and 87 of its base, which will make the pump run continuously without the engine or ignition on, so allowing you to hear if that's the same noise. P.S. Do you have a M50/52 (24 valve six, cylinder engine) in this 318, or have you simply posted ...

Re: Fuel Pump in tank e30
without hearing it, its a job to say.. take out the lower half of the rear bench seat and put your ear against the inspection hatch (drivers side) you'll know if its coming from the pump or not straight away!
