hi just a quick question has anyone done a v8 conversion on a e36 on here or know off anyone who has ? my brother is selling his e38 740 and i was just wondering on a possible conversion so any information on parts, custom parts etc would be required or if threes no point cheers

yes im sure i posted it in the e36 section off the forum but if its roughly the same problem is this big job? as in garage job or can it be done at home ? i quite handy with repairs but dont have a vast selection off tools equipment etc

right i just brought my mates 325 off him a few weeks ago but i hit a pot hole other day and its now driving very strange?? i get a feeling from the back end as if its starting to kick out on braking acceleration and going over bumps i been told that this is a common problem caused by the rear trail...

vintage car show in Swansea in may has all old school and car club stands normally a few hundred cars there im in with a car club in general down here but would be happy to sort out a e30 stand for people in and around Wales and south east England ??

hey guys me and my mate have just finished are m50 conversion and running sweet :) however on are test drive the rev counter is going uo to stupid rpm on the gauge :/ the engine it self is not revving that high but am clueless on what is causing this any ideas ? its still on the standard 1.6 diff at...

fair enoth well the rust is where two off the rear bolts screw into the body area lol :) and yer i been looking at some second hand ones on ebay and they look good but all the filler necks on the tanks are a bit rusty so for the extra buck i may as well get a new one and gsf quoted me £170 so we sha...

im in i only live in swansea so shouldn't be to bad off a drive as i know most off the roads and breccon mountains normally have the best roads
also ill get my mate and his e30 but he not on the forum to come. provided that is my fuel tank is fixed buy then lol

what runners do u need for them ? this looks an amazing mod for me to do as i hate my ripped e30 cloth seats that i always fall out off around corners and not keen on putting in bucket seats thanks

yes i looked at this but what happens is when the blades become stuck at the top off there cycle and begins to go back to the bottom of the screen that's when it jams and u can hear the motor grinding as if the cogs where slipping this is why i suspect the motor is at fault.

hey guys been offered a 325 m20 engine and been told will fit onto my gearbox with same clutch and flywheel is this true and could anyone tell me the pros/cons off this swap is it a good idea ? thanks

thanks guys and soeey ill get used to the forum at some point lol yer took it out pretty straight forward thanks to the wiki. cleaned it all but no joy put it back in and still got stuck so thiunk its knackered

hey guys got a little problem with my wipers as they are being stupid :( when i turn them on they will go up but do not retract back to the bottom an i can hear the motor spinning but nothing also my intermittent setting stays on as a constant wipe sometimes :? im guessing a new motor is it or can t...

Back again got a grinding noise from the heaters when I turn them on some heat blows out but not very much I was given a new heater blower with the car but could be something else ? I'm not to sure on what atm I'm still trouble shooting and eliminating options but I just put it all back together and there is more play in te wheel than before I had the bearings done :/ plus this will be the last work I can afford to do for a few months so dunno what condition any off it will be ...

may just run it as it is then plan on a v8 conversion at some point so may just run it as is
will be fun as people get used to it as a 2ltr than after the swap around jan time will have to see the look on there face lol
