I do thrash it but it is my daily so will probably just use the standard ones then it's just the engines out and one of the mounts snapped so need replacing anyway , cheers

Solid engine mounts
Seen some solid engine mounts as an upgrade to the soft rubber standard ones but they do have a bush in them just wondering how it would feel if I made some purely out of metal and is it even worth upgrading

Re: how much to take off a flywheel??
Why would you want the engine to hunt at idle?? If you want a "lumpy" idle then fit a lumpy cam lol :-) +1 If you shave too much off your going to have some fun in traffic trying to move off smoothly  thats a good point i didnt think of that one 8O how much would you take off lol

i will be running an oil cooler for piece of mind really especially when your boosting, a cool engine is a happy engine lol decent intercooler and oilcooler will promote this as well as keeping your oil healthy for longer

Re: E30 ZONE RALLY
It can't possibly suit everyone but I think a square route fairly central in the country with 2 points on the east and 2 on the west probably about 600 miles or less with the original plan of a photo showing your car ,receipt and landmark would be the easiest way of doing and will attract more drivers
