A few more bits, new barrel and wiper stalk is now fitted. Wheels still rubbed so even more came off. We then rewelded them again and cut the bolt on arches too. It still sodding rubs, the fact it's on 10's with 20mm adapters and 235 tyres won't help. After moving house and a holiday I've finally had some time to crack on with the e30. Fitted up wings, front panel, bumper off the doner car, put standard lights, grill and Amber's back on it. Basicly i started again with most things. Another new battery, bigger and now in the boot with 4 gauge cable up the car. New power steering lines made and tank moved Brake servo moved inside the car, the old brackets on the wing were cut off, smoothed, filled and painted so the wing looks like stock...

I'm tempted to chuck on a new starter to see if that helps.
At the minute it won't start after its warm.

It's straight after and jump as in push it.

As soon as its hot the starter won't turn properly. I tried battery's, jump leads the lot, but not tried re earthing so I'll give that a go.

After the car has been running for about 20/30 min it won't start when I turn it off. I've checked everything, but I'm sure it's a starter issue with it getting hot. My friends one has a similar issue too. His will just click when you turn the key, mine slowly turns. His only does it sometimes, mine...

I went with 181 in the end.
I didn't have the car anywhere near me to check the vin, all I had were the numbers stamped on the bulk head that I had previously taken a picture of.

How much are your stickers, quite tempted.

Can I tell it from the numbers on the bulk head, they are stamped in under the windscreen?

How do I get the paint code for my car?
The strut sticker is missing, most cars you can get it from the chassis number.

It's a 1989 black touring.

The front is all e46 on this, the shell is about the only e30 bit left.

One I took of this on silver wheels at the weekend.

Anyone?

What rear diff and drive shafts are people with 300bhp and over running? We have found the 325i shafts snap with the v8 and some aggressive driving. I'm looking to run nearer the 500bhp and not sure what route to go. The easy answer is a Z3M back end, but they are super rare and expensive if they do...

I was just wondering on the resale of the motor alone. Not to worry.

As for brake servo, it can go under the bonnet, cheaper than a pedal box. My m60 has it under the bonnet, but my s62 will probably go behind the glove box.

I don't have manifolds for a lhd car, but they can't be hard to modify.

Yeah I think it was a police mans personal car at some point. Not sure why you'd spend money on that plate.

Yep it's huge compaired to the little e30. The e30 is a better size for the roads.

I'm building up parts at the moment.
