Re: E30 M3 Sport evo sold 159995
I nearly bought an Evo II a few years ago. Instead I spent the money on an E46 330 convertible. I recently sold the convertible for a lot less . . . . If only I had bought the E30.

Yeah I noticed when I bought my plate that the ADZ ones seemed a lot more expensive than they used to be. Maybe they aren't so easily available nowadays.

Re: Clay kits
That's great, cheers. I'll have a look when I get 5 mins. Yeah I'm sure it'll take more than just a clay kit 2 get the paintwork really good again, after all, it does have 24 years of worth of exposure to the elements!
Cheers for the tip, sounds like a good idea.

Re: Clay kits
Furry muff. Just have to use a bit of savvy then.
Just been looking at those Bilthamber ones you mentioned, they're a lot cheaper than I expected. I shall take your advice and give it a try. Not sure whether soft or medium would be best for my paintwork though. It's Alpine White.

Hi, hope you don't mind me asking, but what size wheels and tyres are these? I was thinking about fitting something similar to my four door. Also did you need to modify the arches at all and how much is it lowered by?
Sorry for all the questions.
Thanks.

Re: newbie
The 320i may only have similar performance to a 318i, however it does have that gorgeous, smooth 6 cylinder engine, and in my book that counts for a lot! Good luck with your restoration/mods, i'm sure you will find this site invaluable. I am also a newbie to this site, however i have owned a few mor...

Am I right in thinking the M52B28 is the E36 328i lump? That sounds tempting.
I would like to build my own car ideally as I can build it to my exact specification, but thanks.

E30 engine conversion
Hi and Merry Christmas everyone, I am thinking of purchasing a second E30, however this time I am looking for one to use as a fast road / track day car. I think I have found the base vehicle, however I am unsure of what would be the best engine conversion. I like the idea of a 3.5 litre turbo, as I ...

325i lowering springs
Hi, my friend is about to lower his E30 2-dr 325i by either 40mm or 60mm. He has recently fitted a set of 17" Alpina replicas with 205/40's on the front and 215/40's on the rear. Does anybody know if 40mm or 60mm lowering springs will fit without the requirement for any modifications to the wheelarc...

That looks pretty good to me. Thanks for the pics. I think i may have to invest in some. I agree, i would much rather treat it periodically rather than painting it.

Has anybody tried the Gtechniq C4 stuff for plastic renovation? I have read it's supposed to be good, but i'd be interested to hear real peoples opinions.

Yeah Ad from Beadles mate. Yeah it's only a 320 but it's only covered a genuine 52k so I couldn't really let it pass me by. Gonna keep this one standard though as it is completely original.
