Re: Where Can I Buy Ignition Leads?

Yea, they do look bloody expensive! Anybody willing to sell me some good ones, for a fair price and quick postage would be a godsend.

Where Can I Buy Ignition Leads?

Hi, My '94 E30 Touring 318i is misfiring quite badly at the moment. Cause seems to be that one of my ignition leads is split, but I don't know where to buy good replacements (genuine?) ones from. I have heard I'll be best off buying genuine, but what are peoples experiences? Are there any easy to ge...

Re: bmwe30 powerloss problems

I had the same thing happen just now on my way home from work. Help pleeeaaase somebody. Problems I was aware of prior to this: Thermostat had gone (engine was staying cold on 20 mile journey) Camshaft needed changing (wouldn't rev over 4100 revs). The misfire that is now happening all the way along...

Re:

Really cool car! Think the height and Borbets really suit it. This is how she's currently sat.. still got a couple of leaks to sort out, need a rocker cover breather, couple of bungs, polish and the borbets sorting out, and she's got 2 photoshoots waiting :D http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g146/Ge...

Re: My E30 Touring, Daily

Cheers Alex - Yea, I do think it is quite a nice colour! Subtle metallic to it is a nice touch. Ahh wow, that's cool Gem - From the sig picture, 100mm'ish does look a nice height. I've been in slammed old VW Golfs and Passat wagons, and they've been comfortable in comparison to the Karmann Ghia I dr...

Re: My E30 Touring, Daily

Cheers for the Karmann comments :) Took some pics over the weekend of the Mauritius-blau 318, after waxing it yesterday. Seriously wanting some 15" BBS wheels... Slamming can wait, I'm enjoying driving it as is - maybe the 30mm everybody suggests might be nice though. http://i1027.photobucket.com/al...

Re: E30 as a daily driver?.

I daily my 318 Touring, have done since I bought it. Practically every time I've put petrol in, I've brimmed the tank - To work out my MPG. I'll regularly do 300+ miles before filling up, and I ALWAYS average between 34-35mpg. It doesn't matter if I rag it down some country lanes, or drive fairly ec...

Re: What is the average age of E30 owners?

I'm 22 as of a week or so ago. Liked the look of them for a while, saw the insurance was relatively affordable, so decided to go for one seeing as cheap ones are cheap.

Re: E30 - Soon to be a rarity?

I rarely see any E30's about local to me. Ones I do see look tatty as hell and chavved up - Not really my thing. I can see them becoming future classics, maybe not desirable classics - but, they have such a diverse following nowadays from the drift boys, the stance guys and the BMW guys, so I reckon...

My E30 Touring, Daily

Hi guys, Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm mainly a VW guy, but fancied something slightly more practical as a daily, and loved the look of E30 Touring's so ended up buying the first one I went to look at. Hopefully I won't end up regretting it! Seemed a reasonable price, and it saves me the hassle ...
