Re: E30 325e 3/1987
Update please :) Back in march 2020 my OEM armrest was in a sorry statevof wear. So while the rest of the world went into lockdown over a fake Plannedemic i was refurbishing my armrest. https://i.postimg.cc/BZRBRYcX/P1060695.jpg After 10 years of use.. https://i.postimg.cc/V6bL98VP/P1060694.jpg

Re: When to change 320i cambelt.
Same as tyres which is why they generally have a date code stamp. Contitech have an install-by date on their belts. I would not install a belt with an old date or a make of belt with no date image.jpg I have a genuine M20 timing belt kit in front of me in the original BMW package. The belt (OEM con...

Re: The evolution of ‘Errol’ the 325i Cabriolet
I would not go to BMW for exhaust parts anyway. You pay top price for something that is worth less then half of what they charge.. no matter who made it! Go to the internet for Eberspacher or anything OEM (now you know the OEM brand used) unless you dont care about the cash spending. My backbox is n...

Re: The evolution of ‘Errol’ the 325i Cabriolet
Out of interest was there a manufacturer on the OEM exhaust? Just trying to work out who is making the BMW exhausts at the moment Original BMW E30 OEM exhaust for the majority of the e30 series are made by a company called Eberspacher. Some cars like the 323i & Alpina's etc. might have Boyssen exha...

Re: ECU EPROM Upgrade Chips - Sale Now On!
Alas, no specific chip available for this model. I would think you're probably better off converting your car to Motronic 1.3, which would give you a better choice of chips: https://www.e30zone.net/e30wiki/index.php?title=Converting_to_Motronic_1.3 Never tried that. Would it work just swapping one?...

Is there also a chip available for the Super Eta? The later version 2.7 that came from the factory with the 885 head running Motronic 1.1 at 129hp

If money were no object.. i would execute my fantasy on e30 by building an e30 with Pigani or Koenigsegg levels of construction. I would strip an M3 until bare chassis like in a nut & bolt restoration when the chassis goes for e-coat. Drill every spot-weld and take the panels apart that make the cha...
