Numbers of each model?

Does anyone have an idea of the numbers of each E30 model that were produced (or sold in Britain) for each year?

Particularly keen to see how many Chromies there were compared to facelift models, and how many of those are 325i varients. Hardly see any around.

Pic of my Chromie

Had it for a few months now. My first car was a red 316 Chromie, and always promised myself a 325i. Finally got around to it 8 years later. Its been nigh-on fully restored by what I'd describe as a gifted amateur. Lots of new parts, but also lots that I'm slowly putting right. Its rock solid, just n...

Diff or subframe bushes?

Hoping you chaps don't mind throwing your 2 cents in - I'm getting a metallic clunking noise when changing gear, and sometimes when accelerating. It sounds to me like the diff striking some part of the chassis. I've done a bit of research and originally suspected it may be the subframe bushes, but I...

Classic Le Mans

Is anyone from here going this year?

I'll be convoying down on Thursday, camping at Bleu Nord. Would be cool to check out some E30s, but dont really know what to expect as its my first trip.

Re: Classic insurance on a 325?

I pay around £200 a year for my 1986 325i, 25 year old. It was limited to 3000 miles until I added my 1988 Austin Maestro for a few quid more, which allowed both vehicles on unlimited mileage. Also the added benefit of full European coverage and breakdown cover. http://www.peterjamesinsurance.co.uk/
