E30 Zone

I did have one of those blowers but sold it .....this one has thew mounting to bolt on .... need to research more i think !!

Not been on for a while ........ does any one have a parts list or diagram for a proven blower set up on the above engine with a Vortech V2 blower ? I have the blower and various piping which I can modify ? If someone can point me in the right direction

Looks like I have sussed it ..........i now have 2 extra oil coolers mounted in front of the rad......have cut 5 large holes in the bumper and a large cut out in the valance........I can now nail it with out backing of on track !!

have found a 75deg kit and am fitting 2 extra oil coolers this week

am hoping that will do the trick !!

Does anyone know a reliable source where I can get some of the above ? Preferably already machined

No worries ....

I can't find one to fit the V8 ...... but have drilled 4 holes in the top of the one in it....... I will probably take it out anyway ......but if you know of a lower temp one for the V8 ?

So any of you M60b40 boys overcome your cooling issues ? I mean ......really overcome them ?!! I did Goodwood last weekend and bloody loved it !! Well after a bit of a lay of due to a couple of operations, (shoulder and ankle rebuild !! :violin: ) i am back on it !! :D After the last track day ...last year in which we trashed the 6speed, we have now had that rebuilt and we are all back up and running again :cool: V8 sounds awesome , box feels...

Anyone have any idea about which Mishimoto rad is best for this conversion........ Have a 535 in at mo and after the last track day .....needs upgrading .......anyone using one ?!!

I did my first shakedown in the E30 in current trim.... 4.0 m60, Gaz golds, 2.7 rack, R888, WMS brakes, stripped etc etc .......... apart from a the gearbox whining like some of my ex's and the internal servo needing more bracing .....was just awesome fun...... a real hand full because I don't use ...

anyone got any ideas what I could use as a rear skirt on my '89 tech 2 car ? Have converted to 4.0 ltr V8 and was considering twin pipes ...... Hi guys, just to let you know .......a modified E46 M52 pump has done the trick............. steering with 2.7 lock to lock is a dream

Thanks guys for your input ...... I had a chat with the chap who sold it to me and reckons it is a 2.7 turn Z3 1.9 rack which was very light anyway ....so the next step is to get a Z3 pump and make that fit

I have a manual 520 with a 2.5 sport engine in at the mo, just needs a little bit of wiring in ....also the 4.4 V8 to drop in when my other projects are finished
