...well wouldnt you know it..Mr Moooore, on the money again..2 clips, undo the kidney grille, there she is..with one wire diconnected!!! how, gawd only knows as I havnt touched it since owning the car & it was as tight as tight to get back on!

Question -Ive read on other forums its easier to take the bumper off to get at the fogs & in my case get to the horn...is this what others would do?

..amusing, true but not getting me any nearer to locating it ( should point out that my time is limited & the car is not where I live, hence wanting to go straight to it, when I find its location!)

Ok, so carbon bush & ring on the wheel seem fine..but embarissingly I have to ask..where the hell IS the horn?! ..I'm assuming tucked up under the front splash gaurd, as I can't see it the engine bay or looking underneath..if someone can tell me specifically I would be much obliged!

Well after a battle with the numerous pipes the offending fuel pipe (50mm!) is removed. Just hoping i can catch my autoparts place before they close.

Amen to that brother! I had the added bonus of having my tools in a lockup at the other end of town, where my scooters are ( no room for e30..) so now have spanners, no rain & culprit spotted - As Brian said, it appears to be the short hose under the manifold that has split..now just to get the mani...

HELP! Petrol spraying onto engine!!

Thought I smelt petrol when I started up the 4 pot touring..open the bonnet to smell & see petrol spraying from underside the right hand manifold, parallel to the carb base (looking from passenger side).. Fearing an engine fire, stopped her & shot onto here to ask..'What do you think the problem is ...

Smelly heater in a touring

318 90' touring -The heater, when all vents are open, blows through a sort of burnt/overheating smell, though the engine isnt overheating & temp gauge is middle..also blower only works on 4...any clues to either of these mysteries..?

The touring is up for its MOT next week, so had a poke around...and found this behind the rear wheel - Iam pretty sure its the sleeve that goes around the fuel line from the filler to the tank - so is this a failure or not? and if it is, what can be done about it..?!! http://i737.photobucket.com/alb...

Tank filled, pin down the nozzle seems clean, dash button goes in & the wipe button works...so why no water?!

..folow up question..how do I get my rear wash wipe to work? water in the bottle but not a dribble out the back?!
