Jimmy, where did you take the tank ? It was a few years ago but (and this is where my memory gets hazy) I'm sure it was Clearflow in Darlington that repaired mine. They ended up doing the whole job for me incl dropping the prop and tank in the end. IIRC they specialised in radiator / fuel tank repa...

I had the same prob on my E30. Ended up having to take the tank out and repair it. Was a right tuuat of a job and all. Ended up taking it to a specialist who recon'd fuel tanks in the end.

Your right mate. Just dug out a photo and it did have the black piping. Was a little while ago now that I had the car .....

I think it was called Oxblood red but might be wrong. It never had the black piping when i owned it

I think the fact it says MTec II 'style' spoiler suggests it's not genuine.

Na mate, it was a bloke called Damien or Darren from the Isle of Wight who bought it off me in 2001 (I think - christ was it that long ago!!)

Was a very nice car and was sorry to see it go but needs must at the time
