99%, you still have air in the system. Try leaving it overnight, gives a chance for all the air to settle in one place. Sometimes repeated bleeding makes things worse rather than better You are doing it correct, as in starting from the furthest bleed nipple. Check for leaks, and that the plastic he...

It's totally not needed. It's a 'left over' from earlier designs of guibo, and any guibo that is on there now does not need it.

Yep it just rubs against it ever so slightly.

My old one was a 1989 touring 325i manual

New one was a 1989 touring 325i auto

I swapped ...... box with linkage, prop, gearbox mount, pedal,

I'm not on actually part numbers but here's a pic of it all

I'm not too sure man. It was all from my old touring so pulled it all out and transferred it over to the new one. I can't work to why its sitting so high

Gear Linkage rubbing on prop

Hi guys

Not long finished an auto to manual conversion. Now finding in neutral, 2nd and 4th the linkage is rubbing on the prop.

It was one car to another I've had a good look but can't see what I've done wrong.

Any help or ideas would be great.

Thanks Alpina99, there are a few more plans first one being a 3.5 and then full over haul of the underside. Powder Coating everything and new poly bushes :)

Oh dear its all so confusing especially when I dont really know what I'm hunting for when it comes to engine codes and types M30's E32 E34 it all means nothing. Ill get there though and if your happy to take on the conversion that would be great.

Hi Rav, im based in Maidenhead postcode SL6 but close to the M40 can shift the car about no bother.

Thank god for an honest forum!! I've only have NA or Charged cars and with this being my first BM I'm finding myself doing a LOT of googling ex: engine codes, boxes, diffs and I'm not gonna lie it's a mine field!
