Re: 6 speed propshaft
Use a e36 rear part of prop then have a custom from there onwards, I had one done and it cost £280 but was spot on!

Re: Perfect diff ratioq
I had to make a complete custom exhaust, the manifolds were the hardest part! My exhaust is fairly loud as I have no cat's just two centre silencers and then a backbox but I am going to change the backbox to something that will make it a little better! I also am using an x pipe to increase backpresu...

Re: Perfect diff ratioq
it really is way to low geared, I can do about 120 flat out in 6th but I want more and cruising is quite high up in the revs I think I am going to go for the 3.15 ratio! 3.64 would be perfect for just drifting but other than that I wouldn't bother.

Perfect diff ratioq
Hi all, I have a m60 6 speed and wondered what the best ratio is for track/drift/fast road driving. I currently have a 3.64 but it's way to low geared I was thinking a 3.15 or 2.97 but wondered what people had?

with the windows, both the windows stop working from both switches, and regards to the heater it's just the blower we are not getting volts to fuse 20 in the engine bay.

Re: X5 Exhaust manifolds
I used the x5 manifolds, cut the outta case off the manifolds then they actually break apart then from there I have modified them to clear the steering etc. I will take a few photos once it's all done, the passenger side litterly bolts on and just needs the flange angle changed slightly.

I completed that and got the engine in the car, what rubber mounts are you using? I tried e30 ones but they were hitting on the subframe well the sump was so a little stumped the 540's seemed to raise it so it wouldn't do that.

Re: Chips' M60 5 speed project
what you mean cut the orginal bracket so you can still use them? I have the ebay arms and they fit but you would need to chop the arm off the old mount and make it fit with 2 insted of 3 bolts, I just wondered if there was another way around this.
