Insurance nightmare!

So I have just been told by Sky Insurance that they can no longer offer me breakdown cover due to the age of the car... never heard of this happening before...

Anyone in the know and any advice?

Is it a sport steering wheel? If so pop the BMW badge (horn press) out and make sure both wires are in contact on the centre piece. To double check the horn, remove the steering wheel, there is a spring loaded carbon pin that contacts the back of the steering wheel. if you take a screwdriver and mak...

that first picture is likely to an aftermarket alarm/immobilizer or for an old stereo.

what ever it is you need to chase it back to its source to start with.
Most likely a stereo... I chased the wire behind the centre console section... thanks

This I did not know, thought only the onboard light would come on...

So I changed the oil pressure sensor and changed the oil and it seems to have done the trick... fingers crossed it is not a temp fix...

Crank case breather hose will be a bonus, current one is brittle so probably needs to be changed anyway.

Oil light on dash...

My oil light on my dash board has started coming on once I have been driving for more than 20 minutes...

Full service with fluid changes in March this year...

What should I be looking out for?

Front wheel cover housing....

Drivers side front wheel cover housing has come loose and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to fix it back...any nuts, bolts or screws that where holding it in place are now not doing so...

Coolant hoses...

So it seems that some of my coolant hoses are taking strain... so figured it may be worth changing all of them...

Got me thinking if it is better to go with new silicone type hoses...

Thoughts / suggestions / advice welcome :D
