Re: bare wing parts..

Yes, sorry it's a bit vague, if you lay a wing on the ground lights (front) to your right door end to your left. I have 2 holes in the wing and 2 holes in the inner wing (on car) so there were 2 clips (folded) that push onto the wing that have a thread in them to fix the wing to the body of the car....

bare wing parts..

I though I was buying second hand wings to replace the 2 on my touring. so I didn't take the threaded clips (2) each wings that fix inside the door hinge (back of wing) . and I also need the nylon inserts to fix the side trim and indicator's I have all fixing from the car but need all parts for 2 ba...

go for 8's all round or maybe 8.5 on the rear if that's the case.

Above car looks very well, now I know my bigger profile will work on a BBS...thanks.

Re: newbie looking help.. picture request e30's with bbs rs

What size are you looking at?......don't go for 15's if you can help it because to make it look right you will have to go fairly low if you plan on stretched low pro's as I have.

I've got standard 14's and a 30mm drop and just done a cracked sump swap!

Re: One sump bolt not playing.

Because it's a lower pan it goes into and 'open' hole if that makes sense. It's threaded into a 'tab' on the upper sump instead of being wound into the actual block.

I'm just hoping that I can do a re-thread with the new sump still on as I've just topped with fresh oil.

e30 track car at santa pod fast show.

My mate has a mint e30 m3 evo and had just fitted fresh BBS rc's and wanted a run out this weekend to get the car out of hibernation. He suggested the fast show at santa pod as he has never been there. But I really think the lure of the 'nuts' girls swayed him a bit even though I told him we were be...

One sump bolt not playing.

Me and my dad had some classic time working on the e30 today. doing a sump change. My sump has had a good strike and not for the first time as the sump nut only had one original flat side and the pan had worn paper thin and cracked. I had a lovely replacement £17 from a zoner (sorry I forgot your na...

Re: What to do with these??

The second photo is a jacking point..That sill lip will need a tickle with the mig methinks.. Clean it up with a flap disc on a grinder, and use a dremel for the awkward bits, then smother it in underseal. right-o. thanks. the one on the other side is solid and the rear one has been ringed with yel...

Re: What to do with these??

Yeah I know they are not jacking points, I meant the other ones on the sills second picture. Are these not jacking points either?? Anyway.. I take it these area's on the sill will need some filler or something so I can smooth them out to look tidy. any sealing products to recommend? Thanks for posti...

What to do with these??

Took off my shitty wings and the inners were good. Still got my fixing holes too. But need to sort these out. What have you done to these? I was just going to grind them back a bit and seal them with some underseal. but obviously the sill jacking points will need to look tidy. http://i701.photobucke...

Thats deadlocked - pulling up the door-pins won't work. I have asked about this before, but I was still holding out that the keys for my 325 parts car would turn up...but no luck. People have told me to take out the front screen, but don't you have to push the window out from inside the car? I can't damage the screen because it is un-marked and I want it...

touring suspension swap extras.

I'm soon buying a new kit for my touring. I'll be getting struts and springs. The car has covered 118k but was sat for a few years.

I'm thinking a set of new top-mounts would be a start?

Thanks.

318I touring exhaust help..

My touring (standard) system is looking a bit rough rust wise and also the tail pipe has picked up a nice dent in it too. I'd ideally want a stainless system with a slightly larger diameter tail-pipe, still in single skin. (looking like the OE) but I think this would be a custom job only which I can...

I might be out of my depth....... Thanks for the info. As cam belts go the work isn't that difficult, but to do the job properly having acess to the cam locking tools and a tension gauge is advisable.
