hmmm i would say about 4 grand for the conversion and about 3/4 grands afterwards slowly slowly doing other things, brakes, suspension etc has any one done the e39 m5 conv?

mines an auto 4 speed with switchable sports mode? any idea about labour costs?

wow 6-10k? thing is my gearbox is shot and the engines head gasket is also gone so either i get a replacement engine and gearbox which will prob cost me a bomb anyways or i have this car as a project... what you guys think?

Hey guys I'm new to this e30 stuff and I need some advice... I want to put a beast on an engine in my e30 ... I'm thinking on an e39 m5 or an e36 m3 3.2 conversion.... Any advice on this? Has any one on here done this to their e30? If so how much roughly did it cost for everything?

yeh thats true, but if i do want to get another box put in along the line i dont want the engine to go aswell... the car has done 155,000 and im guessing the previous owner knew this without telling me. lobour it my biggest prob i dont know how to put a box in or out and with autos i hear its alot o...

the forward clutch is gone but safer to get a gearbox rebuild for 12 month warrentee (quoted 1200) and i think the head gasket iz on its way out, engine oil pressure is always low and is leaking either engine oil or transmission fluid not sure, now the coolant light is on and on top of that the engi...
