country bumpkins aint the word mate!! Im waiting for civilisation to arrive down here! Some of the Lanes around here are great but cant take advantage of them because of the Tourists in the summer and the Ice in the winter!! too right!!

Its very satisfying to get the pink back to red!! There always seems to be a bit on the car that turns back to pink quicker tho! Its the strip on the boot lid just below the boot spoiler! Red to pink in a few weeks!!!

I like that last pic! very arty!

I cant say i like em, but then it looks like the numbers are on a slant???!! On The front one at least... *thinks about booking optician's* They do give a very german-esk look to the car tho!!

Ha! The salt air down here/there is a complete pain! My car has been down here all her life and surprised its got a comparitivly little rust on it! Looks good, it sounds like its going to be a beast! Excuse my lack of engine knowledge here, but on your picture with the cranks and pistons etc, what are thos 7 little things? I think they may be injectors? but 7? Sorry if im way off but we all gotta start somewhere!! :mad:

well i do live in cornwall most of the time!! civilisation is due i that area circa 2010! Until then the Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£ will stay in the bank account until it multiplys sufficently!

sorry guys, its just happened to me a few times on various cars and i know its happened to others and thats always cured it. Distributor cap can be the cause of poor running and of not starting, but in no way is going to stop the engine turning over on the key! It will if the connection it has stop...

if its an intermittent problem and it fails to make any mechanical sound when you stick the key in then it may be the rotor arm in the distributor. disconnect the battery, give it a min for the eletrickery to dissapate, pop the top of the distribustor and give all of the metal heads and the rotor ar...

I have the same problem and its the Ball Joints, I just CBA to change them as in Cornwall its hard to get to 85mph where the vibrations are and its not going to get significantly worse quickly. Its my Summer Grant project! What E30 do you drive mate, saw a couple of nice E30's in Cornwall last week...
