Touring tailgate wiring
I have just finished fitting a replacment tailgate to my touring as mine was more rust than metal. But as i was splicing the wiring together i've noticed there are two brown wires which are both the same size so i'm unsure which wires are which.One appears to go to the wiper motor and the other look...

i have just gone to my local tyre fitter to get my tracking sorted as i've just fitted a new wishbone' but the guy behind the counter says they cannot do it as it requires a special machine and they need to put weights in the car(i think thats what he meant) is this correct.if so does any-one know w...

Another central locking problem
Hi all i have tried seaching but cannot find a thread with the issue i have. The problem is when i lock the car at the drivers door it deadlocks the car(key turns 1/4 turn) so i can only unlock it from the drivers side.This is becoming a bit of a pain as i have three young kids to pile in. does anyo...

Just realised thats not the same one i had.I'm sure it was just called K-seal comes in a small blue bottle i got it from wilco.

I used this on my old 320i a couple of years ago.Had a gasket leak from near the exhaust manifold one bottle of k-seal sorted it for the 6 months i owned it after that and iirc its only about £9 a bottle anyway so well worth a try imo.

The wiring should all be there mate tucked up just below your headlights.Then you just need the double switch and a fuse i believe

Hello all i have finally purchased a rust free tailgate for my touring and am in the process of painting it. It maybe a stupid question but does anyone know if the bmw boot badge is the same for tourings and saloons as i'm about to order a new one.

i have the same problem with mine at the moment and its pretty low so its more noticable and it passed the mot fine last month.i'm planning on doing the rear bushes (one day) so hope this will sort it

just finished mine had the damper so yes i had to bend the rod but all done now and what a change (get it) just taken the "scenic" route back from my mates workshop and i'm suprised at how changing one small part can make the car feel so different.thanks again for the advice guys i'm off for another...
