Whilst trying to remove my rotor arm i managed to break the part that it bolts to. What is this part, and is it easy to change.
The rotor arm is held on by 2 of the 3 bolts and works ok, but i could do with sorting this out.

Replaced the plugs too, so i have had the ht leads off.
Wouldnt it still try and turn over if a ht lead was disconnected?

Re: heater blower only works on 4
I had a look at the fan motor today but couldn't seem to find the resistor board to give it a clean. I hadn't seen any pictures, so wasn't 100% sure what i was looking for. Having just looked at some pics online, it seems to sit under the motor. Unless i'm going blind there definately wasn't anythin...

Z3 Steering rack
Sorry if this has been asked a billion times before. I did a quick seach but couldn't find owt.
Is the Z3 steering rack conversion worth doing? Heard some people say its the best mod they've done etc..
Is it a big job, a simple swap, has anyone done this?

Re: Too many keys!!!
I have one key for ignition, one for doors, and one for the boot!!!
Won't ever use the boot, so if the ignition and doors worked of the same key i would be living the dream.
How do you recode the door locks then?

Cheers for the posts chaps. I didn't even realise the wheels were E30 wheels. I love the look of them though. Whats size tyres should they have on them? Maybe its because its lowered 60mm, but the profile looks too big to me. Is the colour coded spoiler a standard part too? I was toying with the ide...

I picked it up from Gloucester, drove to see my sister in Herford, and then home to Skipton and i was great.

Its missing the original radio too, what should i be looking for there? anyone know the code for that?

I think the bumpers might have been colour coded once upon a time.
Is this type of interior easy to get hold of? The driver seat is wrecked, but the rest of the interior is in great condition.
