That is a yellow 924. I also have a red 924 and a white 944....

I like the slushbox-goes really well with the car. VV cheap is £350 with 9 months MOT and 5 months tax..... :D (Oh, and it has FULL service history!)

E34 breakers near Birmingham anyone?

Guys
Need lots of bits and pieces for my newly aquired E34 525i. Most of the breakers I have tracked down are 80-120 miles from me! Anyone know of any E34 breakers in the Black country/Birmingham areas?
Cheers

Re: 190E Auto

I bought my mate a 190E a couple of years ago because he wanted a classic car. Cost £500 for an almost mint K plate LE model (Last of line) Apart from a broken ball joint, he's only serviced it since then. Loves the bloody thing!! They are nice to drive, but don't buy a manual-auto or nothing with M...

Re: E34 525 oil leak-any ideas??

Hmm...just answered my own question about the curved alloy plate at the back-according to Haynes it's an "Inspection cover" and apparently more sump pan bolts lie underneath it. Can anyone confirm that I can unbolt and replace this plate without needing any new seals or gaskets? I want to take it of...

E34 525 oil leak-any ideas??

Chaps Just bought an E34 525i SE auto to knock about in. (M20 engine, so same as in my E30!) Noticed today that it has an oil leak from the rear of the engine, seeping from between the flywheel/torque converter housing and that strange curved plate which is held to the bottom of the engine at the ba...

Re: Brake pad warning light-not sensors

Just thinking. If I'm right, the warning light comes on when the wire breaks-is that right? So just disconnecting a sensor at the plug would also put the light on ? In that case, is it possible to make sure the sensor isn't faulty by just connecting the two terminals in the loom plug together? Am I ...

Brake pad warning light-not sensors

Guys Changed pads all round on the touring about 3 months ago, complete with new sensors. No problems at all-light (Which was previously on) went out. The cutoff switch is a safety item. If something (Like a child's neck) gets stuck in the window, it will trip and cut power to them. I wouldn't remove it personally.

Re: Which Sikaflex adhesive for side skirts & front lip?

I have used Tigerseal for jobs on other cars and cannot recommend it for bonding bodykits-quite simply, you won't get it off again! If you MUST bond it on, Sikaflex is probably the best as it is more easily removable and less permanent whilst still being a good bonding agent. 252 would probably be t...
