i need a new pair of top mounts for my cconverablt but not sure if they are the same as a coupe of touring etc ive already bought a set but they appear different to the ones fitted is it just a design change or something else?

thats the exact problem i had simon the one that go's from the battery across the bulkhead had managed to get pushed behind the servo

have you tried attaching another to the starter then cranking over? use a jump lead had the same problem with mine when i put the engine in turned out i'd not attached one of the power cables

is there any where in the uk that can produce them its mainly the oil pump with pick up that i need sorting out but if the price is right i'd get the sump done also

have you checked the ht leads for any splits ? i had a similar problem with my e36 where it was fine until you put it under load then it played up coughed farted and spluttered changed the offending leads and hey presto sweet again

its all going to be based on personal choice, pretty much any modifcation can look alright when done in the right way. I'd suggest tryin to view any bodykit etc in person before buying though as they dont always look as good in the flesh as they do in the picture

there are a lot of purists on here but a lot of people that enjoy a few choice modifications a good start would be to look at the e30 restoration bible its got loads of info and was written by a member on here afaik
