Re: Locked keys in the boot

The car itself is not locked, but as far as i can see there is no way into the boot from inside the car. Looks like i might have to give the socket a shot.

Re: No heating in winter not fun !

From thewiki: Heater Blower In order to move the air around the cabin you need a form of fan, which in the E30 is called the Heater Blower. Rather than a bladed fan like an aeroplane's propellor, the heater blower looks like an old paddle steamer with two bladed wheels. These are driven by a central...

Great fun to drive. 95 n regshould have the better 170bhp engine. They are easy to handle on dry roads, interesting on wet. For less than 200 quid I would bight his hand off.

Do you hear the motor trying to wind it in when you turn the ignition off?

If so take the Arial out an WA nk the shite out of it. I fixed mine like this, they seem to just rot and get stuck, although mine has since stopped working again. They are not hard to take apart.

What sort of budget do you have in mind? Not sure if this is of interest to you but I do know of some secure and dry barn space, it was a little out of my budget but a joint venture could be good, plenty of room for more than 2 cars, if you don't mind sharing. Located in Painswick, so only 2 miles a...

I'm lead to believe this sort of cleaner can do more harm than good to older engines, as the build up of rot can actually be blocking problems.

I may be wrong, but a good starting point ofr conversation...

I can say, when buying a car this old, if money is a factor, the cost of insurance should be the least of your worries.

Expect parts to be like hens teeth.
