Cheers, I think you're right- an Evo Merc would have made for a closer test and been a more visually exciting model to feature. Unfortunately I was just working with what was available to me at the time and I borrowed the Merc from the Classic Car Club which meant I got to drive it for a week and ge...

Yeah, I was just looking for a bit of feedback really. Hoping to do some more E30 stuff in the future as well- perhaps something on the zone, a meet or a track day or something if there's anything coming up in the future I can have a crack at pitching.

A little help regarding V8 conversions...

Hi guys- I am currently researching an article on V8 conversions and was looking to you guys for a little help if at all possible. :D The basic premise of the piece is to look at V8 conversions outside the 'normal' Rover/Ford lumps. i.e. Lexus, BMW, Jag, Audi and Mercedes. So if anyone knows anyone ...

Right, well my car was Ԛ£5k and I have spent about a further Ԛ£10k on (mostly preventative) maintenance, servicing and repairs. That's over about 30k and about two and a half years though. If I sold mine (i.e. gun to the head time!) then I'd probably only get Ԛ£9k for it even if the i...

Unfortunately he didn't know replacement tyres were part of the deal when he did his timed lap the first day so said he was taking it 'slow' (all relative!) but the second day they did the corner shots and I think it gave it a little more gusto! The laps I did with him in the XJR were just awesome t...

e30 M3 on new series of Fifth Gear

How do I know?! Because it's mine! Over the last couple of days I have been filming an episode of the upcoming series of Fifth Gear in which Tiff tracks my M3. Afraid I didn't get any great pics due to the filming taking place but it was a cool couple of days and I got the opportunity to take in a f...

MOT faliure, help please!

Hi, my M3 failed it's MOT yesterday and I need a little help. Basically there is a bit of rust on the rear quarter passenger side at the bottom of the wing near the seal and it seems this has moved (at least started moving) towards the sill and is too close to the suspension. I really need the car f...
