Re: Garagistic X Brace
Hi Yeah I have fitted one and it changed the feel of the car completely and removed the scuttle shake. IMG_1259.JPEG I believe that they have done a recent redesign which makes it more flush to the sump. I run -20mm on the standard sport suspension and have had no problems with impact when driving H...

Cabriolet front reinforcement panels
Hi Since I am now staying at home for the next 4 weeks I decided to get the car out of the garage for the first time in a few years to sort some of the rust I was aware of in the front foot wells. After digging around it’s a little worse than I originally thought. There appear to be 2 additional pan...

A little bit more in to do with what is planned and what the specification will be when completed. Engine wise I have a M52 B28 engine that has had the required changes made (EWS delete, M50 Manifold and the wiring changes) by DanThe. I have also bought the parts to utilise a Z3 steering rack to mak...

Then welded in for all of the sections in the scuttle. Not been an expert in this it took me a whole day to complete the scuttle and the 8 patches. I decided to get a scuttle from a breakers that was delivered along with a few other goodies. I used the donor scuttle to replace the sections from the original that needed to be completed and also used it to set the welder up for sections. http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae174/Chrisstubbs5/IMG_1...

MTEC 1 Cab Fitting Kit for Sideskirts
Hi
I'm trying to get together the last few parts of a re build. When I started it was possible to get a fitting kit from BMW but they tell me that is no longer available as they can't find it on their system.
Is there another source for this kit or any other options?
Thanks
Chris

Hi
I dont know weather you have sorted this out yet.
Have you checked that your fuel pressure regulator is working correctly? If not and it is stuck shut the pressure from the pump will be pushed through the injectors, and in turn provide a very rich mixture?
Hope you find it soon

Re: Finally a decent toy to play with....
Hi I'd love to know more! Do you just bolt the engine up to a big electric motor and spin it round at maximum revs? Its bolted to an eddy current dynamometer, basically it controls the speed by providing an opposing force; so you hold the engine at 3000rpm and alter the throttle position which enabl...

Re: Bmw e30 hardtop glasss help
Hi
I had to replace mine 3 years ago. Including the seal it was £229, which was less that I thought from the dealers. There were only 5 left in existance I was told then. If you do get one make sure you go in a big car the box is stupidly massive.
Thanks
Chris
