Petrol wise I get about 320 miles out of 40 quid in my M42 touring which works out about 33 miles to the gallon, thats mostly short journeys 15 miles ish with mixed driving. If you thrash the engine(which it loves winkeye ) you get low twenties. I didn t think it was that good to be honest. Sometime...

Max wheel width and size on E30??????????

What would the max wheel size be without doing major mods to the arches, want to go go for 15s really, will 9s go on if so what offset will I need??I did a search but didn t find anything? :oops:

Am waiting for the snow for sideways fun, rain will do though.
RWD is the best fun by far, well as long as you arent going up a steep hill or need be anywhere quickly.

Another thing put the futherest back diff mount bolt in last, use a trolley jack and brut force to get the front (drop down) mount bolts in loosely and then the rears, it worked for me. I was trying for ages trying to use the back bolt as support.

The nut on the Prop in 46mm, I couldn't move it at all while on the car so I undid the prop to gearbox flange and the center bearing holding it on the car and pulled it out the back of the car.
