I think your a bit mad to leave the sump guard off with it this low. I would rather hit my sump guard on everything rather than hit my sump on something once. I cracked my sump twice before I got my sump guard, wouldn't go anywhere without it now.

Hello All, Wondering if someone can send me a good .bin file for a M42 engine. Will look out the ECU number later if its required... but from memory its a 175. I've used a .bin file off TunerPro's website but it has loads of maps within it, 3-4 for fuel and also for ignition plus idle control and WO...

Hello All, I'm in need of a new propshaft rubber joint. All I can find are too big. The same size used on E36's which are no good to me! eBay, Euro car parts etc all the same... Yeah I have the current ECU I can open this up if needed, but I can't confirm this is the original ECU for this engine would it make any difference? ( idles like a turd at the moment so could be?) I don't mind if it runs badly as I will tune this out eventually as I'm converting this to throttle bod...

I fitted heated seats to my 325i still on the standard alternator no problem at all Maybe thats because you started with a 325i? .... Better alternator to start off with? I've already fitted heated seats last year. My battery always goes flat... like within 2 days I think my alternators excite must...

M40 Clutch on M20 Flywheel?
I have Helix paddle clutches which I plan to use for my turbo M42. Investigating lightened flywheels it looks far easier to lighten an M20 flywheel compared to an M40/42.... Been as I have been given these padle clutches I would like to use them instead of having to buy my own which would fit an M20...

No I just tackled it as I came to it, their construction is very simple really. I had a mate to help me, some bits can be hard to get back together from memory
but if there is a seat repair guide I guess follow that!
