Just wondering if anyone knows if the M20 shares the same hole in the flywheel as the M52 flywheel?

Cheers

Output flange issue

I've got an issue with the N/S diff output flange coming out by an inch, i initially thought it was the fault of the shaft. i swapped the shaft out and it is still working it's way out.

Anyone ever experienced anything like this?

Re: M52 Cooling Issue

I had previously bled with heaters on full, however, the matrix decided to leak from the rheostatic valve, so i've unfotunatley had to temporarily bypass the matrix.

Need to check the earth on the rear of gauge and see if i can get hold of a thermal camera or something similar.

Re: M52 with auto propshaft

Haha again, my apologies for my out of context comments.

Nothing, i'm fairly certain it's an issue with the mounting height of the gearbox. But i read somewhere someone said not to put auto prop-shafts on manual cars.

Standard E36 Hubs on E30

I've been reading about E36 suspension conversions, and everyone mentions the usage of E36 M3 evo bits.

Can standard E36 parts be used as i have a set of modified hubs for a 325i

Re: M52 Stalling problem

Thanks for your response, i'll be buying a cps and a new relay today.

The only thing that pointed me in the direction of the regulator is the rail not holding it's pressure after priming.

M52 Stalling problem

Recently completed My M52 conversion into the E30, all perfect for the first 3-4 weeks.l. I was happily driving in normal conditions at normal speed and all of a sudden the rev counter dropped off completely and the car stalled. So i pulled over and it sounded as if the fuel pump wasn't priming. Gav...

Re: M52B28 Power output

They are crazy engines for what they are.

Had mine on the roller on Friday, exhaust is blowing slightly and it has a small fuel leak

20c ambient temperature in the workshop and it pulled 222.2 at the wheel.

I'm in love with the way it drives, what gearbox are you using?

Re: Harness mounting

That was what i was thinking, Surely the original mounting on the buckle side of standard E30 seats is a bit unsafe as such, I've been thinking about mounting the tunnel side to the seat like the original buckle but ideally I'd like to put an eyelet in.
