Cabriolet Electric - Manual Conversion
Hi, Was wondering if someone could be good enough to put me in the right direction, I'd like to know what parts are required to convert an electric hood to manual? I'm sure there was a list along with pictures but I'm struggling to find it. Spoke to a guy today who reckoned I'd need to change the ho...

Yes, its an electromechanical roof. Not too sure why its not working but I know its not been working for a while and previous owners have thrown money at it...The motors do still operate, think there are snags with the control unit. As its the horseshoe I want to keep down that would be a good optio...

Cabriolet Electric - Manual Conversion
Hi,
I realise this must have come up before, but was wondering if someone could tell me what parts are required to convert an electic power hood to manual. Is there much involved and does anyone have the bits available?
Thanks
Mark

Quarter light window on cabriolet
Just got a new driver's side quarter light due to the old one being smashed. Can anyone please tell me if you need to move the window regulator to slip it in or whats the correct method to install it?
Cheers

The central locking dosn't work and never has since I have owned the car. The motors for the roof have been disabled allowing the roof to be manually operated. There dosn't seem to be any issues with the linkages etc. I have the re-aligning info from the wiki pages and would just like to try and get...

325 Cab - Central Locking and electric roof problems???
Hi, Since buying my cab around 1-1/2 years ago the central locking and electric hood have never worked. Now that summer has arrived in N.I, I'm busting to get car working as it should. I have printed out the 20 page info from the wiki area and have the info on the reb/black wire problem. The issue i...

Fuses burning out with the interior fan switched on - Cab
Hi, Was wondering if someone could help me diagnose a recurring problem with my E30 325i Cab. Basically when you have the heater fan running the fuse burns out in no time?
Thanks

Re: E30 325i convertible roof problems
I have since found out that the wire as you say is to stop the cover and boot lid from colliding. So no worries with that. I will have to look at the horse shoe motor for the allen screw? I take it this will position the hooks towards the front of the car securing the horse shoe in position? What jo...

Re: E30 325i convertible roof problems
Thanks for the posts, some really good info! I have disengaged both motors in the boot and released the cable and c-clip towards the passenger side of car in the boot. I carefully folded the roof back into the compartment also rolling back one of the bars going across the roof and this seemed to hel...

E30 325i convertible roof problems
Hi, Just new to this site. Recently bought an e30 convertible with some problems. Electric motors have been disconnected and I just want to fold the roof manually. Roof won't fold down into the compartment which dosn't allow the horse shoe to close properly.
