Unfortunately the M40 engine you have doesn't mod well. And if the new filter you've put on is a cone filter, you'll have made things worse, not better (panel filters are alright). Yeah its a good thread. I think its just gonna be a matter of trial and error until I find which speaker wire goes to what. Thanks again mate and yeah I'll make sure I dont connect any of the 12 volt feeds to the speakers directly!!! I've already connected up the power to the stereo and taped it up ...
