Leather upholstery restorers in London?
Hi, can anyone recommend a good value leather upholstery restorers in London? Primarily I need to get the driver's bolsters sorted but if reasonable I might do more of the seats. I've read a lot of the posts about DIY-repair but I don't have space, time or confidence to do it as well as I'd like, at...

Re: fuel leak from rear arch area?
I have noticed drips of fuel falling from my touring, that are making the ground damp under the rear door in front of driver-side rear arch.
Is it still safe to drive the car?
Is this likely a fuel filler in need of replacement, too, or something else?
Thanks!

Steering Wheel installation
Hiya, I know this has been addressed in part elsewhere but I need a bit more detailed info re installing replacement e30 steering wh. 1. Which way round is the hex brass bit (horn connector?) on the little spring meant to go and how do you stop the brass bit pinging off before you fit the wheel? Or ...

Re: Mtech / Sport Spring Prices please
Hi Brett, I sent a mail to partscheltenham@cotswoldgroup.com but perhaps wrongly, as I had no response. I'm still trying to understand the difference in height between the Cab. M-tech front (-15mm?) spring compared to the Touring front "sport" spring-which is BMW lists as being 'low-slung'. Could yo...

Front Anti Roll Bars
Can front anti roll bars be upgraded on a 325i Touring? Is it worth it? So in my quest to get back to closer to normal height springs on my Touring (-40mm too low for me), a mechanic friend told me if I want to maintain good cornering and low roll, while reverting back to -15mm or full/standard heig...

Mtech / Sport Spring Prices please
Hello, following recent discussion on the forum http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=2123410#2123410 I've been guided here. Please could I get pricing for Mtech(-15mm) front and rear springs for a 1990 e30 325i Touring (if Mtech -15mm springs exist for Touring) and pricing...

Re:
Thanks. Will look up Cotswold section.
Has anyone here ever actually put rear Mtech springs from a cabbie on a touring?
The shocks on my car were new shortly before I bought it last year, when the previous owner lowered it all, so hoping I won't need to change them when I change the springs.

Re:
I'd always understood that BMW 'Sport' springs were the Mtech(-15mm) ones. I'd not heard that they were different before?? What I was told about rear touring being the same sport or not-sport was by 'Classic Parts Consultant' for BMW Battersea. Where did you get your cabbie rear's from, I've heard t...

Springs - GSF, ECP, or BMW?
Ok, I'd like to know your thoughts and any specific experiences on how quality of ECP and GSF springs compare to BMW spec ones. So I am moving closer to getting my 325i Tourer back to -15mm/Mtech ride height as its present -40mm is too low round London ... I found out today from 'Classic BMW' that t...

Re: e30 325i touring springs/ ride height
Thanks! Know anywhere that does aftermarket -15mm springs, or are the Mtech Sports only available s/h or else main dealer? I was also wondering if the back might end up lower than intended, if these were put on a Touring, but good to hear Andyboy's comments to the contrary. Anyone else had experienc...

Re:
I used to use Autostorm Classic when I had my 1975 Alfa GT1600J, which was otherwise exposed to the elements and it did a good job of keeping the elements out and was breathable enough to let pretty much any condensation evaporate. Just that was for a coupe shape car and I've not seen any that fit w...

Car Cover time?
Ok now the snow and rain and salt spray is here, I'm thinking its about time to look into a half decent car cover for my e30 Tourer, which I have to park on-street. Does anyone know of a good cover that fits and protects this model well, not for silly money? I was wondering about the Autostorm Class...

e30 325i touring springs/ ride height
Hello, this is my first post here. This eve I'm collecting my new (to me) 325 tourer, which is mostly original spec but has recently been lowered about 40mm and really I wanted to get it back to original or near original height. I wondered about swaping the spax springs for some 318is -15mm springs,...
