I though my Touring was in very good condition, but when i went to sell her I was only getting offers of £500.00. I spent double that on her in the past 2 years.
Was thinking of breaking it to get a better return. Not 100% sure yet though

Re: My Touring Project
I did have her on ebay, but not getting offered nowhere near what I wanted for her.
Not to sure what to do next with her as her value seems too low to put any more money into her.

Re: Hot running E30 Driving me mad.
its been the same for a while thats why I replaced all the things I though could be the problem. The Heaters blow hot, the viscous is new, but still the same problem persists. I think the Viscous fan is the only one the car has (mine anyway)

Hot running E30 Driving me mad.
Hi I'm having real annoying cooling issues with my H Plate 325i Touring Auto. Basically on my 16 Mile trip to work in the morning, with so slow traffic at the begininning and the motorway and a-road to work, she is fine. But on the return journey once I come off the motorway into the traffic, the te...

Re: Whats gone wrong.
Havent checked the water pump, took all the hoses off and could not find anything. If it had gor into the water pump would there be no water returning into the header tank, its flowing back into there fine.

Re: Whats gone wrong.
Spent all afternoon in the rain trying to sort this out. Rolled up a newpaper stick it in the fan and I could stop it. Also thought I would remove the thermostat as the heaters were not blowing hot hair anymore (were yesterday) and found only half a thermostat? the outer bit is their but no inner bi...

Re: Whats gone wrong.
Car was pointing uphill with the heaters set to hot and we were slowly filling the expansions tank whilst squeezing the all the rad hoses, plus running the engine at 3,000 rpm to circulate the water. At no point did the water reading on the temp guage go above 3/4, but its an old car and that maybe ...

Whats gone wrong.
Finally the e30 is on the road but its ran into a little trouble. Took her on her first long test drive, in traffic and noticed the temp guage was sat at 75% rather then the normal 50%. So went back and decided to make sure that there was enough water and anti freeze. Anyway, Took off rad cap and st...

Really bad idle for first 30 secs
When I start my 325i Auto (H Plate) from cold the idle is all over the place for about the first 30secs. After that its fine. I though it might be the Temp Sensor so replaces it and no difference. Have changed the plugs and the leads also. The car has not been driven in 2 years, the engine has only ...
