Re: What got you into E30's?

Just really loved the look of them since about six or seven years ago, really wanted one for aobut the last 4 years and finally got one last month! Small bits and pieces to touch up and work at but sure that's what makes life interesting!

Re: Locked out of my e30!

Battery to registration plate light (after checking polarity)? Sorry, i'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean to connect another battery to where the bulb goes on my back registration light? I take it this will power up the cars' electrics again? Will any size of battery do or does it have to...

Water should not be able to get to the battery tray but if the wings have been removed and not sealed back on the car water will find its way onto the battery tray and cause problems. I think this coul...

Re: winter preps

Why is it too late, surely some protection is better than no protection  Also is waxoyl the best, i have heard it traps the dirt etc and in the long run may cause rust, or is this rubbish as long as you clean beforehand?

Wet drivers' side footwell.

Hi all, my drivers side carpet is soaking wet, from the accelerator pedal, and down to half way along the door roughly. I checked under the car today and there's no rust at all, but there is about a 8mm wide hole under the bonnet, near the windscreen on drivers side. Would this be causing the wet fl...
