I think they are prices for each damper, everywhere else that ive seen seems to be 70-80 each for the b4's so was just double checking yeah ive got 51mm struts ready to get built up, not starting the conversion until the rest is done so im not tempted to cut corners to get it on the road quicker etc...

just took my car for the mot and its failed on the headlights being too low as the electric adjuster inside the car has broke.just wondering the other ways of adjusting the height of the beam?as they are saying i may need whole new headlights as they wouldnt adjust

id happily spend the money on the build, but with the way insurance is going diesel's feel/are much quicker. thats why i was thinking of a diesel. ideally i would buy an s50, but i wouldnt be getting insured on it until im 25+. im going to look into this honda which my dad has and see if the lpg kit...

main reason for the 2.0d is im only 20 so would have to wait a good few years if i wanted to get insured on a 3.0d swap. with lpg swaps is it car specific for the kits which you buy? my dad has a honda accord with an lpg conversion which is due to be scrapped soon, is it possible to use the kit out ...

i see, ill look into getting some quotes, up until now ive done some for a 'non-standard engine' and the cheapest i got was 5k+.some of the modified car insurance companies that i have tried to get a quote from only allow drivers of 21+ or 23+.

thanks for the feedback.have you ever heard of anyone turbo/supercharging the m40b16?im only 19 so one of the problems is keeping a small enough engine to get insured on which is why im looking at taking the route of forced induction.
