Wanted E30 Race Shell

Hi All

We are now in need of a 2 door E30. From a full road car to a race shell with a full multi-point cage fitted. Anything considered.

Money waiting for the right one, and beer waiting for a lead to one!!

Help please

Hi, I have an E30 with a M52 fitted. I am after the throttle cable for it. The part number i have been given is 35411160611. Or it should fit an 1992 E34 525i. The part number retuns a cable very short where as the one i am told i want is 1170mm approx. Can you get me a price for the correct cable p...

Cheers Dan. Yes the short one is what returned from the Wiki part number, i too dont understand how that can even reach the Throttle body!! Anyway i will go and see if they can come up with the right one, i did explain it should be approx 1170mm but they list no size/length. If anyone in the mean ti...

Throttle cable

Hi All

A little help needed. E30 M52 with M50 inlet and large throttle body fitted. Which cable do i need?

I have ordered one from BMW 35411160611. On the Wiki page it says there should be an option of two lengths but BMW say not on that part number.

Is this right?

My upgrade from open to LSD made a massive differance, i dont do track days but its made the car smoother to drive, the engine is revving alot less then before and the speed is better, as in the gears last longer. When changing gear and letting go off the clutch, the biting point with the open diff...

Over the winter i will be looking to fit a full flat floor and diffuser to our E30, it already runs a large splitter and front section. To make full use of a diffuser it does really need the flat floor and the skirts to feed it. You might feel some diffrence on its own but not anything to write home...

E30 Brake Ducts (carbon)

I am looking for some hub mounted brake ducts. I have seen the metal ones Turner Motorsport do but would like some carbon ones idealy. I email Live Sockets (in the US) who did do some but they have stopped doing them for some reason.

Does anyone use them or know of any others out there?

Thanks for the feed back guys. I see alot of yours are road based cars, do we know of anyone using the boxes for Racing or Rallying? We've had one in the past and 2nd gear sync wasnt great, is that a common thing?
