Hello, Thanks for the quote on the timing belt, i'll order that tomorrow. Could you also please let me know if you'd be able to provide a spray can of Granite Silver Metallic BMW paint as was used on the late facelift (92, K) convertibles? Aftermarket rear valance

Evening guys, Just a quick one - have any of you experience (good or otherwise) with an aftermarket rear valances on an E30? Context is, some years ago i got a shunt up the arse (uh huh) in the vert and the shallow dent it left leaves a nasty gap to my rear bumper, and so im now looking at this (bel...

Re: What is the value?

Timewarp! 'What is it worth' threads have never been popular on here so dont expect a glut of feedback. If that were mine i'd consider it worth at least 6.5 to £8K, owing to the scarcity of such early models, condition and mileage. Suspect you'd easily find a taker for it that wants a show car.

Hi there everyone! First post on here so here goes... I’m 16 and have bought an E30 Touring 318i for a grand last summer. Thanks Jon, but I'm gonna trust your BMW parts catalogue over my random BMW forum Googling!

I really can't understand why so many struggle to find these brackets (surely only worth 20 quid tops, even new) in breakers.

It's item 3 in this picture, but is grayed out so can assume it's NLA everywhere.

Re: Theresa's deal binned

Two well balanced rational arguments. Nearly 3 years on it is quite amazing how BREXIT still divides people with otherwise much in common, in families & offices, quickly leading to 'racist, 'stupid', 'naïve', 'weak' being tossed about. No general election does this and seemingly polarizes Leave into...

Theresa's deal binned

Suspect yoi're all sick to the back teeth of the B word but, we've a monumental few months coming up that could see the Tories renegotiate fresh terms with the EU, leave without a deal and trade under WTO, scrap BREXIT, have another referendum and hold another UK general election. Reckon there's any way of being able to plot a graph of declining #E30's registered in the UK against time, split by model/engine against rising price? Surely no Joe scrappy man would cluelessly cube an E30 without realising tge parts have value. Perhaps our supply will now come from Germany, as fer...

Yeah i feel the same about my Renault 5, but unless we have a multi-story garage from aged 18 upwards they all get cubed. Makes you wonder though...should we be collecting the Toyota Yaris, Dacia Duster or Ford C Max of today to coin it in 20 years from now? Or, are all todays equivalents sh*t?

Are # E30s dwindling or stabilising?

Be it the Zone, Ebay or the FB group - there's clearly a hell of a lot less 'turds' being dismantled for spares than I when i bought up loads to restore mine in 2010-13 so it got me thinking, have we reached a plateau of all the £500 'shitters' being killed off? Don’t forget that the material increases with heat, so if it’s hot enough to put the roof down, the window will be warm and plyable.
Ah hadn't thought about that, ta. I guess a little slack needs to be incorporated then when fitting the screen in winter temps.

Thanks lads, possibly worth a shot as a short-term (until the summer) fix then, even if attached with glue, though worried this'd make it brittle & breakable whenever the roof gets folded down. Mart have you able to collapse the roof easily with the screen you fitted? Does yours have one of these zi...
