Excellent post.. I was right there with you swearing at the car.. I sympathise with the 'what can we put in the radiator?' situation too.. check your earths too... the first you know of it is dim lights, poor charging and slow starting.. If it's a post facelift 6 pot, the first thing you know is the cloud of smoke from the oil level sensor earth lead, running the length of the engine loom, vaporizing. 0.5mm2 copper wire doesn't take k...

Anywhere but halfrauds! I can't remember the size but there's a diesel one with the same post setup as an E30 for a bit more oomph.. I'm sure someone else can come up with the details! euro car parts or Camberleys is good.. I'd check your alternator too (batt should be about 12.5 not running and 13...

Hi Tom, Welcome back :D What’s your plans this time around? Ta! Well, my plans are the same as any E30 owner: Look for a car that doesn't need too much doing but isn't crazy money... view seven cars, (four snotters reliably described as 'rare' and 'investments' and 'rot free' which will all have cr...

Well, I'm back lurking in the shadows as I look for another E30 after a few years poncing about with a 635 and an E21... It does seem a bit quieter than a few years back but then it is winter still.. So a lot of cars are still hibernating.. I'm sure once people are back out putting some miles on the...

Air bleed screw at the top of the thermostat would be your best port of call, m20's are really prone to air locks and are an arse to bleed!!
