Re: Abs light
I have had the same issue and wasn’t sure there was sensors on the rear! Will check mines as it’s doing my head in as it didn’t do it when I got the car.
Like many E30’s there not shy of a jump start, what’s the implications of this as mentioned by Paul on the ABS? what should you check etc?
Cheers

Re: Hartge front grille badges
Yeah I was happy with the quality, it was a bit big but then if its taking from a original then it's correct for the car! I do have a small one on the car which is a bit more subtle as I don't want to put it in people's faces type thing.

Re: Autobox sticking in first
I had similar issues after I changed the engine and had to drain the box, they can be very sensitive to the level of fluid and to much or not enough does cause issues. I replaced mine and never had a issue.

Re: Exhaust manifold studs sheared in Head
I had same with Hartge Head so mate done it in situ, new Irwin drill bits and a dewalt angled drill. Measure depth off hole and put tape round drill bit so u don't go to far in and go through water jacket.

Interesting enough I have the same issue with a auto cabbie, interesting to know what would be involved in a electric fan upgrade!
Glad to hear your on the mend.

Re: Switchable auto
I have both version on 325's and the switchable is more responsive and fun when in S mode! The early non switchable is slower to kick down due to being a cable rather than electronic, I find both enjoyable but do prefer the switchable.

Sorry to hear that but maybe worth to salvage what u can and sell it and start saving for another! There is still plenty half decent examples out there for not a lot of cash that have the basis of a good sound car.

Getting thin on the ground and the 2 on eBay are the ones I was questioning, had a feeling by the look of them that they were the sparco ones or similar.
