Re:

Hey up Murphy , naa the cossie conversion has taken a back seat for now. Still got all the bits ready but other priorities have pushed it to the back of the queue (fiancé , child , house , mortgage , wedding plans.... etc.. etc.. ). The car projects definitely made faster progress when I was young ...

Cheers , I thought I'd go dark to go with the shadowline trim but I didn't want to go too dark , black wheels can look really lost in the arches and have very little presence.

Diff sizes / types / ratios

I'm thinking of changing the open diff in my 318is for an LSD item but I'm unsure which size casing I need and which ratio diff would be best for the M42 engine.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks , Doog.

Well finally got them on , had some awesome luck finding spacers too... guy I work with had a set of 15mm hubcentric spacers in E30 fitment which he sold me for £40! Score!! They're Eibach too. So.... wheels turned out to be 17"x 8" , 4x100pcd and et35 , spacers have taken em out to et20 , tyres are...

Re: Another wheel question , 17" wheels this time...

I'm moving away from the poked out look of my staggered Borbet A's.

I'm making the switch to Compomotive mo's , want them as flush to the arch as possible without catching or sticking out.
Definitely don't want them sitting back in the arch , can't stand wheels that look lost way back in the arches.

As title , people running 16x9j.. Quick question , what size tyres are you running? And do you have any arch clearance issues?
